When Monica began her career as a fine art portrait photographer, one of her earliest photographs was of a young girl peeking through a scrolled iron gate. This image was the inspiration for this early locket style, and it has endured for more than ten years as one of our most popular locket necklaces, and certainly as our most popular rectangle locket necklace. %expanded-desktop%

It is a design offered as an 18k gold rectangle locket necklace that hold two or three pictures and comes with both short and longer length chain options. The popularity of the “gate” style recently inspired a new modern rectangle locket, our Sun, Moon and Stars locket necklace. Like so many of the designs throughout our collection, the gate lockets are also offered as sterling silver rectangle locket necklaces. While the Gate lockets measure approximately one inch in height, we know clients are often looking for a small rectangle locket option. Our slim “Britt” locket is a perfect choice, coming in at just under ¾” in height.
