Her famous character, Carrie Bradshaw’s, footwear fetish followed Parker to the silver screen (“Sex and the City 2″ opens in theaters today!) as well as home, where she has an entire closet filled with the world’s most stylish shoes.

Is “American Idol” Sentimental?

MONICA’S BLOG My family knows that every Tuesday evening is my “American Idol” time. I’m not embarrassed to admit, I’ve been a fan since day one. I love it! I even vote. This Wednesday night, “American Idol” will conclude it’s ninth season with a winner. No matter who that person is, the power of the song has been an important part of their journey and mine, as a devout fan.

However, this new film mostly forgoes the familiar folklore in favor of something more historically accurate.
