Photography Exhibit: Heinrich Kuehn and his American Circle: Alfred Stieglitz and Edward Steichen
While the Neue Galerie celebrates 150 Years of Klimt, they are also exhibiting some of the best works by important Austrian photographer Heinrich Kuehn, while exploring his friendship with major American photographers Alfred Stieglitz and Edward Steichen. Heinrich Kuehn’s early work was highly influential at the turn of the century, as he was one of the first to explore photography as an art form and experiment with color. For those who appreciate photography, this is an exhibit not to be missed.
