Monica’s Instagram Guide to St. Petersburg

Last week, Monica returned from a trip to St. Petersburg, Russia, followed by quick stops in Paris and London. Here is her short guide (by way of Instagram) to St. Petersburg, with Paris and London to follow!

1. A boat ride is a must to take through the canals, and is great for seeing sights such as the Tzar’s Winter Palace (above) which is now part of The Hermitage.

2. The Hermitage, an art lovers paradise! The grand staircase (below) is stunning, as are the ceilings.

3. The Gardens at Peterhof, which was the summer palace of Peter the Great. The gardens are beautiful and fun to explore.

4. The Winter Palace of Catherine the Great is another site worth visiting for it’s beauty and opulence
