Iconic Image: John French

Though his name may not be as well-known as other fashion photographers of the 1950′s, the photographs of John French are some of the most recognizable. His archive now lives at the Victoria & Albert museum, and is full of striking fashion portraits of icons such as Jean Shrimpton and Anne Gunning.
