“Coincidentally, my heirloom is one of Monica’s charm necklaces. I have pictures of my four children in the charms. Ben, my oldest son is getting married in July. My second son, Ross, is starting medical school this fall. Alex, my third son, is married and has a beautiful wife and daughter. He is in the Army and is currently in Iraq. My daughter, Emily, will be starting college this fall. This is the first time that all of my children will be away from home at the same time, and it gives my great comfort knowing that I can see them every day and have them close to my heart. Family is very important to me and my children are my life! Monica is truly an inspiration with her commitment to family as well as being a talented artist. I will be putting a picture of my granddaughter, Samantha, in my locket and I will cherish it always. Thank you for making this Mother’s Day so memorable; one that I’ll never forget.”
